Harvest Festival Service

Sunday 28 September at 10am

Led by The Rev’d Anne Lovegrove, this service gives us time to give thanks to God for the gift of creation. If you bring along physical gifts, we will do our best to find a home for them. We are concentrating on financial gifts to be given to the charity noted above.

All activities and collections this weekend are raising funds for the Bishop’s Harvest for the Hungry Appeal: Rewrite Their Future. The charity supports Mission Direct’s work to increase access to education, especially in some of the world’s most under-resourced communities. In Zambia and Uganda alone, Mission Direct will help over 2,945 children this year, of which 1,170 will be benefitting from new classrooms —and over the next 20 years, 23,400 children will gain access to education that would otherwise be out of reach.
