All Saints’ Home from Home Weekend 2026

Friday 20 to Sunday 22 November

‘Home from Home’
A weekend of fellowship, prayer and fun: learning, praying, eating and relaxing together. Also, a chance to get to know
both regular and newer members of the All Saints’ better.

The Archdeacon of St Albans will join us as our Speaker and will offer teaching and encouragement to us all as we journey
together in faith. We are going to be exploring particularly our church strapline: ‘To know Jesus and to make Him known’.

Alongside the talks will ‘be’ together: to laugh, get to know each other and relax in each other’s company. All of these are
important aspects of strengthening our life together as a community. We want the weekend to be as accessible and enjoyable as possible, so activities and events are being planned for all ages.

Recognising it is not easy for everyone to get away for all sorts of reasons – practicalities, costs and timings – we’re planning this time of spiritual and community refreshment knowing we will each have the joy of sleeping in our own beds! We hope people will be able to take part in everything across the weekend but, if not, then as much as is possible.
