Each year we choose a number of charities to support and hold fundraising events throughout the year. The total raised is shared between the nominated charities. Fundraising events include our Table Top Sales.
We also have dedicated appeals throughout the year, such as Lent and Harvest, where we raise funds for specific causes.

Local: 9 Lives Furniture
9 Lives Furniture are based in Rickmansworth and helping people who are disadvantaged, living with Learning Difficulties or mild Mental Health issues – as well as saving furniture from landfill.

Lent Appeal 2026: Christian Aid
Our Lent Appeal this year will raise funds for Christian Aid
Join us as we join with Christian Aid to help forge a world where everyone can live a full life, free of poverty. Our donations will make a difference to the lives of people across the globe (including the UK).

Previous Nominate Charities
2025
We raised £2,471 for our nominated charities in 2025 which were:
- Druglink – a substance misuse charity based in Hertfordshire
- Mind – the national Mental Health Chairty working to everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect
- The Associated Country Women of the World – a network that allows rural women to connect their voices
In addition, we had the following appeals during the year:
- Lent Appeal 2025: We raised a total of £490 for Dig Deep at ASCEND, a project of the Watford and Three Rivers Trust.
- Harvest Appeal 2025: We raised a total of £465 for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal for Mission Direct
- The Christingle Service on Christmas Eve raise £175.55 for The Children’s Society
2024
We raised £1,753 for our nominated charities in 2024 which were:
- Unseen – working to end slavery
- Essex and Hertfordshire Air Ambulance – which provides air ambulances and is funded entirely by donations with NHS support
- Rinchen Zangpo Society – supporting children’s education in Spiti, India;
- ASCEND – offering activities and support to people in South Oxhey – in partnership with All Saints’.
In addition, we had the following appeals during the year:
- Lent Appeal 2024: We raised a total of £385 for Christian Aid Middle East Humanitarian Appeal: www.christianaid.org.uk
- Harvest Appeal 2024: We raised a total of £259.30 for Thrive: Nutrition and Sustainable Agriculture in Sri Lanka
- The Christingle Service on Christmas Eve raise £168.53 for The Children’s Society
