Each year we choose a number of charities to support and hold fundraising events throughout the year. The total raised is shared between the nominated charities. Fundraising events include our Table Top Sales.

We also have dedicated appeals throughout the year, such as Lent and Harvest, where we raise funds for specific causes.

Local: 9 Lives Furniture

9 Lives Furniture are based in Rickmansworth and helping people who are disadvantaged, living with Learning Difficulties or mild Mental Health issues – as well as saving furniture from landfill.

Fundraising Total for 2025

We raised £2,471 for our nominated charities in 2025 which were:

• Druglink – a substance misuse charity based in Hertfordshire
• Mind – the national Mental Health Chairty working to everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect
• The Associated Country Women of the World – a network that allows rural women to connect their voices

In addition, we had the following appeals during the year:

• Lent Appeal 2025: We raised a total of £490 for Dig Deep at ASCEND, a project of the Watford and Three Rivers Trust.
• Harvest Appeal 2025: We raised a total of £465 for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal for Mission Direct
• The Christingle Service on Christmas Eve raise £175.55 for The Children’s Society
